Escaping the city for Halloween this year was a refreshing change. After months spent working in Porto, I finally made time to visit Galicia, Spain. I found a charming room in a hotel that was once a monastery! Spending Halloween night in an old monastery felt fun, with no ghost unfortunately but with plenty of peace.
