Apart from these, it also holds several places of worship, various styles of churches and mosques. Having heard of this place, I decided to travel from Hyderabad to Proddatur by bus in a weekend. One of the most significant landmarks in Hyderabad is the Charminar which is a structure built out of granite and limestone. The structure houses four minarets with each facing different sides.

      I was travelling in an AC sleeper bus that took off from Panjagutta in Hyderabad at 10:30pm and reached Proddatur at 6am the next day. Staying in a bus for almost 9 hours was tiresome yet the bus gave rest stops and the gentle staff took good care of the passengers. They bus provided blankets, pillow and TV installed for all individuals.

      I had plans to sight some of the temples situated in Proddatur including India’s biggest Kanyaka Parameswari Temple, the Sri Rameswaram Temple, the Ayyapa Swami Temple, the Shivalayam Temple and the Satyanarayan Temple. Along with temples, the city also has mosques like the Khadar Hussain Masjid, the Noorani Masjid, to name a few. Apart from these, Proddatur also houses churches like the Penthe Kostu Machine Church, the Shalom Church, the RCM Church and the Bethania Church, among many others. Each place of visit was remarkable and I cannot afford to miss any of these. I also wanted to taste the delicious sweet called ‘Tangedu Palle’ of Proddatur that is prepared specially with lots of ghee.
      The city of Proddutur is connected well via roadways making it feasible for a majority of people to commute seamlessly from Hyderabad.       Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant: The breath-taking views that this eating outlet is based in One Fullerton offers complement the signature dish of this place perfectly, the Chilli crab.

      Sabio by the Sea : This Spanish sea food restaurant has a menu that is sure to leave you licking your fingers. The food here is best enjoyed with sea breeze blowing through your face. So if you are in for some Mediterranean delight make sure that this restaurant is on your visit list. I was quite pleased for having visited this restaurant as this was an awesome Spanish experience for me and was quite amazed by the grilled meats and sea food. I personally loved the Paella de Pescado which had lovely flavoured curry rice. The other best part of this place is that they allow pets. The next time I visit this place I am sure to bring in my sweet little Katy my cat. The ambience is also very pleasing. It gives you the feel of a relaxed atmosphere by the dock.      Read more

If you want to have an up close and personal encounter with these pretty birds, visiting the Jurong Bird Park should be on top of your bucket list. The Park organises feeding sessions for its visitors. Young or Old you will surely remain entertained thanks to the various shows organised by the keepers of this Park. The eagles, the hawks and the falcons show their mighty moves during one of the most prominent shows of the park known as the ‘king of the skies’. If all this is not enough for you also get the option of dining out with Penguins and Parrots. If you are travelling to this park along with your kids make sure to attend the ‘Birds of Play’ show. The Park lets you feed these magnificent creatures only during the active time. There is an informative commentary continuously playing over the speakers. This is one of the best places to go to along with your friends and family.

      River Safari

      One of the least known places in Singapore is the River Safari. This Safari houses several monkeys and pandas as they gather around the parks waters. There is an adorable red panda here who is quite famous amongst the tourists. This one of a king river themed zoo is spread across 12 hectares of land. It features some of the best fresh water attractions of Asia. The Safari boasts of having 820000 visitors yearly. Home to over 4000 animals of 500 different species the Safari was open for the people in the year 2012. The park since then seen thousands of visitors every year. He government has taken several initiatives to increase the visitor count at this particular safari. The place is a must visit on your trip to Singapore. The Park has several animal exhibits. It is considered that the park has around 10 different eco systems of the world including River Nyle as well as River Tundra. The Safari also houses some endangered species of animals. A famous Panda couple here is housed in a enclosure which is climate controlled. The zoo is famous for cultivating its own 86000 square feet of plantation all by itself with no outside help.
