Abschied von Ayu
30 april, Indonesien ⋅ ☁️ 30 °C
🇺🇸 Now you can tell that my time in Bali is slowly coming to an end. The first goodbye has been said. My month-long intensive spa journey ended today. Ayu only realized today that it was our last appointment and was somewhat moved by it. I gave her a tip as a thank you, and while I was outside drinking my tea, the manager asked if I could take a photo with Ayu. She had apparently requested it. Of course, I agreed, and Ayu came out again with tears in her eyes.
As a consolation, I offered that we could meet again for lunch or dinner at her favorite place, Picky Eaters. Whether that happens, I'll have to see. Ayu herself is flying to Java to visit her mother on May 5th, so there isn’t much time left.
In the other photo, you can see Eni. The other staff call her Ibu Eni (translated as Mother Eni) as a sign of respect, since she is the manager of the three spas. Eni also told me that as a thank you for my time, I get a one-hour appointment for free. I've scheduled that for May 9th, to get one last massage just before departure. I will have it at the third and last Jaens Spa, which I haven't visited yet.Läs mer
