Today we travelled south to Galway...I'm afraid our weather today is quite miserable, rain, rain, took 2hrs to get to Galway, where we had a 2hr stopped over. It looked a lively town, but not good walking around in the rain. We then crossed The Burren a mountain range to get to the Cliffs of Mohar. A 204 meter high cliffs overlooking the sea. WELL we didn't see ANYTHING as the fog had come in and the visibility was NIL. We then travelled to our hotel for the night at Innes. The Auburn Lodge...a lovely pub, where we had dinner as well, as the others were going on an optional tour, we paid for our dinner. We had roast of the day, but to our disappointment the roasts aren't like ours, they serve roast meat, on top of mashed potatoes, with boiled vegetables and gravy.Read more
