Some irish pancakes (drop scones) fresh off the pan. Tomorrow is the start of Lent, so today is a day of indulgence 😊

Here we call today, Pancake Tuesday or sometimes Shrove Tuesday, and of course elsewhere it is more famously known as Mardi Gras..

We eat them with lemon juice and sugar.Read more

The cattle are kept indoors during the winter months. We feed them with silage and grain.

This is a Coastal Redwood from California, growing in my mum's garden. It was 6" (15cm) when it was snuck over, now it's at least 30' (10m).

Traveler Identical to GB, which is turkey. So a bit like US Thanksgiving, but generally a lot more meats on the plate alongside turkey and of course more than one kind of potato.
