Case Gioia

Went for a morning tour with a local guide and learned about the history of Venice.

Enjoyed a gondola ride through the canals, which was very relaxing. Had caprese and zucchini flowers (stuffed with ricotta!) for lunch then wandered the streets for a few hours.

The evening consisted of visiting a family owned winery and restaurant that has been in the family for three generations. I got to sample five wines and had amazing pizza, pasta, and cheese.Read more
