Jiuzhai Valley is named after the nine villages there. These nine villages are also known as "Heyao Jiu Zhai". The language, clothing, and customs of Tibetans there are obviously different from those of the neighbouring compatriots. Jiuzhai Valley, Sichuan, known as a fairy tale world and a fairyland on earth, is located in the south-central part of Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Sichuan Province, and is located in the southeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
In the scenic area surrounded by the green mountains of Jiuzhai Valley, the three valleys of Zechawa, Rize and Shuzheng form a "Y" shape. there are 114 large and small Haizi (lake or “son of the sea” as Tibetans call them) in a cascade distribution, 17 waterfall groups, 11 rapids between Haizi, and 5 calcified beach streams are like dazzling pearls on beautiful necklaces, decorating the blooming lush virgin forest. There are four tourist scenic spots in the scenic area: Shuzheng, Rize, Zechawa and Zaru, with a length of more than 60 kilometers. There are six scenic spots: Shuzheng, Nuorilang, Jianyan, Changhai, Zharu and Tianhai. It consists of 3 valleys and 118 seas, including 5 beaches, 12 waterfalls, 10 streams and dozens of springs as the main attractions, and the 12 peaks of Jiuzhai.
