Atlantic Petrel 大西洋海燕

On our way to South Georgia Islands, somewhere southeast of Falkland Islands, we spotted a small number of Atlantic Petrels. According to the bird expert of the expedition team, Atlantic petrels are nesting on the subtropical islands Tristan da Gunha and Gough in South Atlantic Ocean, about 4,000km northeast away from where we were passing. Amazing how far they fly.
