2 days’ extra stay 两天额外假期

Due to several heavy snowfalls in Toronto area, our flight has been delayed numerous times, we have to stay at the resort for 2 more days. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the extra stay, strolling the beach, snorkelling 🐠 , peddling, recording starfishes, enjoying the food and drinks 🍹 🥤 🍷. Seems to me that the good feelings from those two days are more intense than the full 10 days we came for. A bit strange.
