Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré 圣安妮-德-博普雷

Passing through town of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, we saw this church whose size and scale is far too large of the small town. After having a brief visit we learned that this is a basilica.

It is Initially built in 1658 and rebuilt in 1926 after burned down in 1922, it is an oldest basilica in North America. It is located about 30 km east of Quebec city. Each year especially around late July hundreds of thousands of pilgrims come here from all over North America.
