    Farmer's Restaurant 农家院小两口

    After touring Tianshan Tianchi we stopped at this random farmer's restaurant for late lunch. That was Very Delicious. Chatted with the young lady serving us, we found that she came from Beihai, Guangxi, some 4000km southeast of Xinjing. She came here by tour, fell in love with the handsome boy (owner of this restaurant) and decided to stay. They have twice visited girl's family in Guangxi. What a romantic story.

    Flaming Mountains 火焰山

    Legend had it 1,600 year ago when Tangseng and his 3 dsciples passing this area, were stopped by the extreme heat from the Flaming Mountains. The fisrt disciple Monkey King Wukong fought with the demons to borrow the palm fan, extinguished the huge fire of the mountains, finally they continued their joinery west.
    According the world largest themaometer, grund surface temperature at the moment was 50 degrees Celsius, very moderate as shrugged off by locals. The bury-in-sand cooked egg business was not open.

    Putao (grape) Valley 葡萄沟

    We are visiting the famous Putao Valley where grapes are harvested here. We ate a lots of fruites. All sorts of raisen and other natrually dried fruits were tasted, we were taught a 101 lecture about how raisins were graded. Lessons learnt, do not buy raisins with vibrant colours.
    BBQ Lamb and chicken noodle are extremely tasty.
    During Putao Valley tour, all husbands were served by wivies for fruits, drinks, putting on shoes, etc., as directed by local guide. This is the very tradition locals still hold.
    今天来到葡萄沟，看风景，吃水果，品尝各种干果，还上了一堂葡萄干等级的初级课。以后就不买颜色鲜艳的葡萄干。又吃了大盘鸡和极为鲜美的烤肉。

They use Mongolian text, can speak Tuwa, Meng, Han, Hasakh, Uighur and English.
