Day 0: The flight itself

Today... well I left on the 28th and arrived by the end of the 29th. 😅

Anyway, today was mostly about actually getting to Tokyo.

The first stretch to Shanghai was relatively uneventful. No issues with paying extra for the bike (#nice) and the stopover of 4 hours was just waiting.

When I arrived in Tokyo itself there were some shenanigans with fitting a rolling bike bag into all the elevators of the Tokyo public transport system but all in all that was fine.

Tomorrow I will be finalising my route a bit over breakfast and put the whole bike together again. Wish me luck 😂Read more
