Welcome to Tanzania!

Arrived at Tanzania's Kilimanjaro Airport. It's an interesting security process here. At Rwanda, we had to unload all of our luggage from the vehicle for scanning, just to enter the airport grounds. Then regular security once inside the airport. On arrival in Tanzania, our bags were scanned yet again before exiting the airport. Go figure!
We transferred to Mt Meru Lodge, surrounded by mountain forest foliage. Columbo monkeys reside -- we enjoyed watching them high in the trees. Excellent meals yet again!Læs mere
