Lunenburg & Bayswater Beach

Lunenberg is a historic town ~90 minutes west of Halifax. It is designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO -- considered the best example of a planned British colonial settlement in North America, as it retains its original layout and appearance of the 1800s.
Bayswater Beach Provincial Park, along the south shore of Lunenberg County, has a great white-sand beach that is walkable (easily, I proved, in tennis shoes while Tom relaxed and napped 😊).Read more
