• Another breakout.

    The weather has been a bit inclement for the last few days, so we've had a bit of a bludge.
    Janette relaxed in the study with a book and took the opportunity to light the fire.
    We had a hunter in the cottage over the weekend, here with his six year old son. He 'got' a deer. Originally, he was to stay a few more days and overlap with a friend who would then stay on after he left. With the uncertainty caused by the CoViD mess, his plans changed. Leigh came in Thursday night and left on Sunday. His friend and his family are coming in on Thursday and staying till Sunday.
    Went to feed the calves this morning and two were on the wrong side of the fence. They had walked under the fence where it crosses the creek. The solution to them doing this is to hang some old corrugated iron from the bottom wire. This is a job I've been meaning to do but...
    Anyway, this delinquent calf behaviour spurred me to action - it's done!
