Save the Koala Day.

Today is Save the Koala Day so we've featured a photo of 'our' koala. We think she has a large territory in the gum trees along Little Sam's Creek. We only see koalas here every couple of years. Having said that, we tend not to look into the treetops much, so we probably miss a bit.
Moved the fence posts to the carport ready for painting.
Update on Peter - he has broken his leg just below his hip replacement. He will need an operation to repair the break with a metal plate. The operation should be tomorrow.
This weekend's visitors to the cottage arrived today- shame the weather has turned wet and wintry. It's nice to have people staying - we often look across at night and say, “there's a light at the lodge”, as we would when Lex was still alive.
Nemo has refused the bottle both morning and evening today. He doesn't look hollow so we assume he's being fed. Minnie is ravenous and gulps down four litres at each feed. No sign of the last two calves yet. Czytaj więcej
