Before (hopefully) cottage photos.

Finally got the timber for the verandah extension at the cottage. Timber has been as scarce as hens' teeth. This had been on order for months.
So, having no excuse now, I bit the bullet and started with the 'easy' bit - demolition.
For some reason, probably laziness, I'd previously left a couple of dodgy bits of concrete - one being effectively the top step. They've gone to the tip - just up the gully at the back of the cottage.
Now all I have to do is finish the job before we 'escape' on our holiday.
There are people coming to stay on the 28th for a week.Read more
