Oh, what a dinner!

On the drive to Suwa, Inage explained that we would all be supplied a casual kimono to wear to dinner tonight. He said he would demonstrate how to wear it in reception when we arrived at the hotel.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better - it did!

Tonight was another Japanese banquet but with even more courses. We each had the little cooker on the table but this time it contained liquid as well as the meat and veg.

Inage explained all the dishes, including a raw egg which could be broken into a bowl and used as a dip or put into the 'stew' on the burner.
