salt & silver journey p.2 - Cerro Rico

We entered the mine of Cerro Rico. Cerro Rico is the name of the impressive mountain which have a size of 4800m. Also the silver mine, which was founded there, is called "Cerro Rico". Today, it's so huge, you need more then 20hours to reach the deepest point of the tunnels. Incredible!

Some "funny" things you have to know: To make some presents for the miners, we bought high percentage alcohol, Coca and dynamite for the miners. Yeah, you're reading correctly, dynamite.
