What a great kid
Well he is thirtyone
He was similar to a squid
He did so much when called on

He was a chef
An excellent cook
To praise he was deaf
He did not need a cookbook

He stirred the boat
Two to three hours
He kept us afloat
I think he had superpowers

I was tired after one hour
Tired of the controls
Ready to throw the anchor
In those shoals

Ryan stayed true
Operating the helm
He was great crew
Not easy to overwhelm

The anchor was no match
When he yanked it up
Ryan won every rematch
He was a sailing grownup

I miss him already
Very smart and happy
He was very steady
And he has so much ability
