Just walking through a church graveyard with headstones from the 1700's and 1800's..😯Weston, and Bath in the background. In the far center, you can see Bath Abbey.

    Cotswold Way

    July 30, 2018 in England ⋅ ⛅ 64 °F

Took a 5 mile hike on the Costwold Way (an 108 mile trail starting in the north of the Cotswolds, and ending in Bath) out of Bath, past Weston, to view the rolling hills while looking back at Bath.

TravelerHow warm is it when you were hiking?

TravelerIt was in the 70's and was super comfortable. We had several passing rain showers, but the sun would come out, then dry us out. Then repeat. I think I see where the English get there "stiff upper lip" attitude - I think it comes from their acceptance of the rain..knowing that the sun will eventually appear. 😋
