Day Two in Rome

Our journey on day two wound us through the city on our way to our tour of St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, where we happened upon a lovely local market that was a feast for the eyes but only a few small samplings for the stomach! I am always suckered into fresh flowers and plants which were abundant! We also were able to take in the original track where the chariot races were held, and yet more ruins and eye-catching spots...not to mention our harried lunch and a delicious grapefruit beverage!😆Read more
