• Marbæk Walk Part 2

    June 5 in Denmark ⋅ 🌬 16 °C

Continuing on we got to this area that was so pretty with all these bright yellow flowers (Scotch Broom). They were all over the hills and I loved walking though there, plus the water was on the one side! And we saw a deer! The deer is in the fourth photo just above the yellow flowers just to the left of center. In the seventh photo just to the left of center are two giant goats! We saw them from behind and in the bushes and thought they were cows until we walked around and got a better view cause they were so big!

The rest of the way was walking along the cliffs along the water or on the beach itself (the trail started up higher but kept going up and down the gullies and was super sandy and I eventually decided to just walk along the beach instead). We found a super purple jellyfish which is not a color I see often in nature! And another bunker was just below the cliff by our place that we walked on top of yesterday and never knew it was down there (the tide was in at the time so we couldn’t walk in the beach last night). All in all it was a great walk! I loved the variety of the plants and all the fun animals we saw! It was an easy walk since everything is relatively flat (the cliffs are not that high) and I am really enjoying this area! We are definitely going to have to come back and explore more!
