Finally in Kathmandu

After a rough night's sleep at the hotel, we were back at the airport for 10 this morning.
Learning from last night's mistake, we hired an uber, which was a quarter of the price!
The security was so strict in Dheli airport, we were taken aside and questioned about the amount of electronic goods we had.
The short flight to Kathmandu was a real experience, very turbulent due to the mountain winds and bad weather.
Upon arrival, we were met by Badri, a very pleasant staff member of the spiritual excursions group. He gave us our marigold flower necklaces to welcome us to Nepal and took us to our hotel via city centre within 5 minutes we saw Monkeys on the roof tops and an Eagle swooping down. Thank god our hotel is so much nicer than the one in India.
Once settled in, we went for an explore around Kathmandu, it is Graces paradise because of all the crystal and incents shops. We finished the night at their rooftop restaurant sipping an Everest beer and about to eat our first Nepalese meal.
