Eilean Donan Castle

Eileen Donan is a small island with a beautiful castle on top, it is one of the most recognised castles in Scotland and probably appeared on more shortbread tins and whiskeys than any other. The site has had a castle on it since 13th Century however, the castle that sits on the island now is a 20th century deconstruction due to the old castle being destroyed.Read more
