Soviet Walking Tour (by Josh)

This afternoon we did a Soviet walking tour around the eastern (in more ways than one) part of Sofia. This included the national stadium built by the communist, a monument to the soviet army for liberating Bulgaria (note this has since been vandalised with blue and yellow for Ukraine), after this we walked further back in history to a monument for the emperor of Russia who liberated Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire.Læs mere
