Detifoss & Selfoss

Detifoss is one of the largest waterfalls we’ve seen so far, it is 100 metres wide and has a drop of over 44 metres and it is the second largest waterfall in a Iceland!

The only major issue was the spray off the waterfall was unholy, absolutely unholy!!! By the end of it we were absolutely soaked through 😂😂.

But none the less we had a fantastic time and afterwards found a spot that wasn’t too wet and we could full appreciate the sheer size (and sound) of the waterfall.Read more
