Vík!

Quick pit stop in Vík for lunch. The guidebook said it was booming town which is heaving and loud during the summer, however, this couldn’t have been any further from the truth. It was VERY quiet and the busiest part was the supermarket 😂.

However, Vík did have a beautiful church which was set above the ground, a black sand beach and a rock formation just off the cast. This rock formation has a legend behind it, which is that it is 4 frozen trolls who attempted to steal a boat in a storm. Well sadly for us after seeing this a heavy rain cloud moved in and we had to seek sanctuary in the supermarket.Baca lagi
