Sick day

I felt a sore throat last night when I got back to my hotel, and run down as well. By bedtime I knew I was coming down with something. Probably a combination of some bug, and exhaustion from constant running around-- two emotional workshops, power drive acros country, prep for trip, long flight, buy bike, jet lag, etc.

I'd planned to visit a theatre friend and his husband today, but knew by bed time I should cancel. John was gracious, and I ended up sleeping till almost noon. Didn't do much today except edit some photos, and take a quick walk around the block to mail postcards.

Felt better by evening. If this carries to tomorrow, I'll make another run into central Amsterdam and do some more exploring.Meer informatie
