Trier to Freiburg

3 trains to Freiburg. First to Neustadt, then Karlsruhe, finally Freiburg.

First train has lots of reserved seats, probably a scout party going to get on.
Sit on right of train for best views as it goes long the river Saar.
It has a trolley! And a ticket inspector!

Train was 10 minutes late giving me a 2 minute change over in Neustadt. Up and down 3 flights of steps to change platform.

Last train, Offenburg to Freiburg. Full of students! I thought they were on holiday.
