Belfast, Northern Ireland

After arriving at the Belfast Terminal, we took an adventure *away* from cities, cars, museums, and galleries (the usual fuss!), and took the excursion to the World Heritage Site, Giant's Causeway.

Amazing! The most unique feature of this beautiful site is the exposure of some 40,000 large, regularly shaped polygon columns of basalt in perfect horizontal sections, forming a pavement.

This dramatic sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland. (Of course!)Read more
