Shetland Islands (Lerwick), Scotland

We arrived in another spectacularly beautiful town this morning.

Because we had a late excursion time, we enjoyed the fitness room, put in a little more packing time, and took the 12-minute shuttle ride into Kerwick.

We seem a little shopped out at this point, so we visited a few shops and just enjoyed a walk in the cool portside town.

In the afternoon, we took a 2-hour excursion to see the countryside. A super-bonus was to see and touch the beautiful and hardy Shetland ponies!Read more
