Day 10 and 11 Sea Days

Wednesday and Thursday were full of rough seas.
I was cross stitching early in the morning. Amelia comes up and we chat as we watch the sunrise. It was very very windy out on the deck. Glenn slept in and didn’t show up in his normal routine of bicycling in the morning. He slept in!
We met for morning devotions with mark and Judy Ann and also Jim and Amelia plus new friends Darla and Richard. We talked about how each of our lives have different stories and how we can share our stories. Interesting conversation. Glenn mentioned about the YouTube channel of “The Listening Road” and how everybody has a story and everyone wants to be heard.
I attended the session with Amelia on “How to run a cruise ship”. Very informative. After a quick return to the room, Glenn and I went down to the main dining room where waiter Aktar greeted us and insisted where he could wait on us. Aktar work on NCL Spirit 2020/Rome-Capetown and again 2021/Hawaii-New Zealand
And he remembers us. He served us in “the Local” many many times and remembers we enjoyed Diet Coke, so without us asking, he brought us Diet Coke! Wow.
We enjoyed lunch with new friends, Darla and Richard and listened to their story.
I took a good afternoon nap.
We had a speciality dining at The Bistro with the Hills and Lantz. Great conversation and delicious food. I tried the pork chop and chocolate roll. One word: Delicious!
On Thursday, we had another time change. We are now 6 hours ahead of Dallas. I cross stitched. Then Amelia, Glenn and I played Rummicube snd No pun intended. We had a good afternoon nap. And then we met with 4 other couples for dinner, but we divided into to tables -men on 1 table and women on the other. And I had my favorite crème brûlée. Tomorrow night, Jaime is going to make us fried Yucca.
It’s Halloween, so folks are all dressed up, and there’s carved pumpkins around the ship.
We’ll be passing through straight of Gibraltar at midnight tonight
