    Mount Rushmore

    Breathtaking. Check this off my bucket list!

    Drive thru 3 narrow tunnels on Needles hiway. Clouds rolled in.

    We made a quick last minute decision to drive directly to Frisco, Colorado and spend Wednesday riding down Vail pass on our bicycles and then continue on to Kansas and Oklahoma. And TEXAS

    As we were driving south on I 25, we called up Joseph and Patrice to meet us at Cracker Barrel for coffee. We’ve known the Villegas since our days at GPBC in the 80’s.

    Next stop Lazy Bear Lodge in Frisco, Colorado. We have several bicycles in David and Jan’s garage that we like to ride down the mountain!    Read more
