We dropped our luggage off at 4:30am this morning. We returned home to regroup and then left in a taxi at 11:30 for our 2:30 flight. We were able to check 4 pieces of luggage, all 50 pounds each. Our carry ones are just as heavy, full of cross stitch projects and frames.Read more

On Wednesday we enjoyed El Fenix with mom and dad.

We spent some time at the bodega. Glenn packed 1 huge luggage with lots of my cross stitch project and not 1 single frame was cracked or broken. He’s the man!Read more

We took the ‘back roads to Tyler through Athens.

Glenn opened up an account at Altra so we could start the process for the Eagles Nest townhome.

We stopped and chatted with Phil Burks in his Genesis Corp.

To show you how special Phil is, while visiting in his office, he gets a call from a guy out in California that is raising 8millions for his drone project (First I Z) and his reply was “I’m with friends right now. I’ll call you back” Wow, he put that guy on hold to visit with us.

Also talked about Tom and Theresa Bledsoe (my HS choir teacher and Billy Graham friend) and his connection with Phil.

We chatted with John Nix (we met in Antigua several years ago). John’s nephew is currently studying Spanish in Antigua and we’ve connected with him several times this past month.

We visited with Amy and found out that the property will not be available til January. Ugh. Oh well.

We met with Martha at Altra.Read more

This 1950’s diner has a train that delivers your meal and drops it off at your table.

You order by making a phone call.

We shared a classic burger that came with hash browns served inside the buns.

Evie and Virginia arrived just in time to see everyone. So glad they came to stay for 2 days at Avant.

We played Racko, Left, Center, Right and worked a puzzle and several other games. And Evie French braided Emily’s hair!
