    Time with Jeff and Kathy

    We had an enjoyable time with Jeff and Kathy! We played games and chatted. Laugh and laughed!

    We have an 1 hour visit with Phil up at his new office, the Treehouse. Then we drove to the Tyler Rose garden and had a picnic. I drove the camper. Then by the cemetery that had a granite Grand Piano

    On our way to Corpus.

    We said our good byes to Kathy and Jeff. What great friends. They headed towards Mississippi and we headed to Houston.

    I drove about 1,5 hours. It was a 4 hour drive. Our goal was to check out the car dealership in Houston for a 12 passenger van that I found on line. I called in advanced and set it up. We were looking for a good used van for Ellen and the family.

    We arrived. The van was sold yesterday or last week or who knows if it was even on the lot. I felt bad. We called Ellen and shared our disappointment.

    We remained in our RV as we sat there disappointed. We were also waiting for Rob to show up so we could hand off the French horn that we had brought up from Guatemala.

    Next stop was to find a shade to park and make a sandwich and salad. Rudy’s. It was 4 hours to Houston, now 4 hours to go to Corpus.

    Karen took us to Ol steakhouse. I had salmon. Delicious.

    Houston then Corsicana, Texas

    We had bfast tacos snd chatted for a while. Then Thomas had to go to work. We left soon afterwards.

    I drove about 1.5 hours until it started to rain. It was very very windy. We met Sherrie at Mia’s Table. I had a salad and Glenn had chicken

    After lunch we stopped at Walmart to fill up then continued north. I texted Jennifer and she met us along i45. We had a nice visit.

    The sky cleared up and it was sunny. Then about the time we pulled into our RV Spot, it started to rain pretty hard. Finally Glenn was able to plug us into the electricity

    I made supper. 2 rounds of Rummycube then time for bed. Still raining. Thunderstorms for a few more hours.

    Heading home

    It rained most of the night. We stayed dried. I heard motors and buses drive back our RV during the night.

    We were thrilled to see the sun when we woke up. The campsite was beautiful. I’m sure this is a favorite spot during the bluebonnet season.

    We had breakfast out on the picnic table. Then headed t out wards Dallas.

    We attended 3Score at Northwest Bible with dad. Before hand we drive thru the old neighborhood.

    I slept in the bed as Glenn drove back to Tyler. We unpacked and have 2 days until our next trip.    Read more
