Grammie Camp Day 1

I forgot to take pictures while they ride their bicycles

We have been having 8 am devotions with Scott Boerckel

Then a Walmart journey followed by a picnic lunch and Spanish lessons and also noon prayer time with Neil and Vela show.

Lucy took a nap in Her room and Libby fell fast asleep with me.

We had spegetti for super followed by Scott Boerckel at 7pm FaceTime.Read more

Grammie Camp Day 2

We did a Walmart run for some simple groceries for granddaddy. I took Libby and Lucy with me while granddad took David and Emily to the bank.

We dropped the goodies off at Juliet Fowler and also had to stop at central market for a potty break. We got water and a comic book for David.

Lunch was frozen pizza and Neil and Vela show. David had typing lessons. Libby took a nap quickly in our room. Lucy slept too.

Libby and Lucy drove with me to Love field to pick aunt Sherrie and uncle Steve from Colorado.

We had Sonic hamburgers with Sherrie. Then 2 for 1 special.

The kids rode their bijou in the parking lot of Camino. We are hoping Lucy will learn.

Day 2 is in the books - but still need to have the kids to take a good bath. They’ve earned it!Read more

Grammie Camp Day 3

The kids were very quiet and we slept in til 8am. We had scrambled eggs and fruit for breakfast. Then Scott’s 8am devotion.

Diego and David were playing a game via Spain.

Aunt Sherrie and uncle Steve showed up with grand mommy and granddaddy. We watched Neil and Vela Facebook Live. I fixed lunch.

Libby slept in my bed from 1:30 til 5pm Lucy slept til 4pm

We ate at El Fenix. Yum

“I bet you would like an ice cream cone” was all that Lucy needed yo hear....and she started riding her bike.

We watched yesterday’s devotion from Scott after everyone took a shower.Read more

International’s space station. Yep we woke up a sleeping baby, David.
Uncle Ronnie and aunt Kelly stopped by

David met Diego in Spain.

Chicken pot pie for lunch and corn dogs for supper.

After a busy Thursday, it was fun to stay at the mission house and be together. After the gate closed at 5pm, the kids enjoyed bike riding.Read more

Splash Kingdom with Aunt Sarah

Grandmommy and granddaddy joined us for breakfast and then to watch the kids on their bikes.

We met Aunt Sarah in Canton at the Waterpark. The kids loved the wave pool, slides and I enjoyed the lazy river.

Sarah treated us to the dairy palace hamburger.

The kids were happy and exhausted.

As we were driving on I 30, I pulled over and I got a Blizzard and Glenn got a moolate.

We ate at Cici pizza where we ate with Ellen back in January.

Pulled into a comfort suite in Little Rock at 10am. Libby woke up crying. All are sleeping well (11pm).Read more
I kind of wish I was there. I wish I lived in the US forever (part of me does); the other part knows that I wouldn't have my friend Dani (my next door neighbor) if I wasn't in Spain. (or any of my friends in Spain) [Diego]

We had a wonderful 8 days with David, nearly 9, Emily 7, Lucy 5 and Libby 3.

We had 5 days of Grammie Camp. We connected with Aunt Sherrie and Uncle Steve, went swimming at the Burns home and Lucy even learned how to rude a bicycle.

Yes, we would love to do this again next summer or even sooner.
