We thoroughly loved our time with our dear precious friends Scott and Carol. They arrived late Thursday night and left Saturday morning.

We laughed.
We cried.
We played Chronology.
We played pun Intended
We went bicycling
We tried letterboxing - no success

We anxiously waited for Ellen and Luke to arrive with the 4 youngest, Lucy, Elizabeth, Annie and Amanda by car.

I got a text message that they pulled over into a motel somewhere in Arkansas. Later she texted that they were an hour away.

I had gone to the routine doctor appointment and follow-up with EKG. Then Glenn and I headed to Brookshire grocery store to buy food for the week. I even made Mexican casserole for our dinner.

Then the house electricity went out when Glenn and I were in the middle of watching the Ryan Trahan YouTube video of 50 states in 50 days.

Then it got so hot in the house that the fire alarms starting blaring. Horrible. Then the Rosenbergers pull up. Too hot to go into the hot house, too hot to stay outside, so we drove the cars for Glenn to fill up with Brookshire discount points. We walked across the street to Chick-fil-A to get some late lunch. The girls enjoyed playing in the playground.

We exchanged vehicles. We now have the 4 girls until we reconnect with Ellen on Monday in Houston. Aunt Sarah will keep the 2 older ones for a few days.

House was still hot. Alarm sounding. So we had a Game Plan. We went to Walmart. The garage sale isle. Got some shampoo and ichey stuff for the girls from the mosquito bites

This is the Game Plan. We watched 3 episodes of Ryan and the 50 states in 50 days. I rolled up the girls hair while they watched the entertaining vlog.Baca lagi

Day 1-3

The girls all slept in our room as we had A Candle in the Window couple that were staying with us. Lucy cried out a little during the night.

I rolled up the girls hair. No complaints.

On Wednesday morning, Sarah came over and we exchanged vehicles. She took all 4 girls for overnight. They were excited to be with Claudia and Aunt Sarah.

We introduced the girls to Ryan and “50 states in 50 days”. They thoroughly loved the YouTube videos. The Game Plan.

Glenn and I took Thursday to chillax. Sarah brought the two younger kids back here in the afternoon. We laid Amanda down for a nap at 1:30pm and then at 5pm I went into the closet and she was. Just standing in the corner of her bed. Smiling.

We ate spaghetti for dinner. Bath. Curlers. A walk around the block in our pjs. Good dayBaca lagi

Day 4

We had early morning zoom calls. Glenn drove the back roads to Sarah’s place to pick up the double Ls.

Since I had made Mexican casserole 3 days ago, I cooked the famous lunch. Then here’s s the game plan. We continued watching the 50 States in 50 Days YouTube series.

I put Amanda down for a lap at 1:15. She was still sleeping at 4:30 when I took the 2 oldest with me to Ross to get some dresses and jammies.

Glenn met me at 7-11 for slurpee day. I took Elizabeth to get her hair trimmed. The beautician was patience is combing her hair.

We watched more Ryan Trehan’s videos, walked around the block and ate grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.Baca lagi

Day 5

We drove to Dallas to see granddaddy. We stopped at buc-ees for a potty break.

Granddaddy order chicken fingers and pizza for us all to eat around his table. The girls ate well.

We told Dad about the 50 States in 50 Days challenge. So we watched 2 episodes with granddaddy. He enjoyed it.

So we told the girls that should go looking for a Joyride candy at Target or 7-11. Glenn got me a TCBY chocolate cone.

Then we sent Elizabeth into the 7-11 at Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road. We hit the jackpot. The girls were so excited! Glenn purchased 1 sample of the 3 varieties of candy. We all shared a sample. Pretty good.

As a special surprise, we drove by 2 homes that are featured in the show. We drove by a container house in White Rock area and then the earth house on Buckner road.

We drove back to Tyler. And walked around the block before we continued on our 50 States youtube series.

We had pizza for dinner. Delicious cold watermelon. The girls took baths and showers. Washed their hair. Then I tolled their hairs.

Good day to see granddaddy. Find the Joyride candy and watch more episodes.Baca lagi

Day 6 & 7

Never wake up a sleeping baby! We dropped off Lucy, Elizabeth and Annie at Greenacres church, then I drove back to pick up Amanda. We had Lucy and Elizabeth in big church with us.

For the afternoon, we had a Game Plan. We frantically caught up on the latest episodes of 50 states in 50 Days. We had delicious macaroni and cheese plus watermelon.

Both Annie and Amanda took good naps. When Amanda woke up from her nap she said “is it morning yet?”

We had popcorn for super. Then the older girls went into my office to their bed. They went to sleep right away.

Then as Glenn was packing the van, he noticed a double rainbow!

Monday morning we left at 5:15 to head to aunt Sherrie’s to meet up with Ellen and Luke. We stopped at McDonald’s for McGriddle. The girls enjoyed the play place.

We arrived at Sherrie’s before noon. Visited a minute, then we exchanged vehicles and headed back to Tyler. Stopped at the Joint to get my back adjusted. Feeling better already.Baca lagi
