Stop on a way to Chacaltaya

Our next day trip from La Paz took us to the highest altitude we have experienced.
On a way we stopped to take few pictures of the Cordillera Real that started to show of its peaks.
The weather wasn't the best one but the mountains looked spectacular anyway.
We admired the Huyana Potosí and Illimani.
Now we need to conquer another 1000 metres of elevation to get us only 100 metres from the peak of Chacaltaya mountain.Read more
