    Ollantaytambo

    April 4, 2018 in Peru ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

After a quick buffer lunch we set of again and headed for our fourth stop.
This is so far the biggest site we have seen. It's composed from several preserved terraces, ruins of houses and military bases and on opposite mountain a storage for crops that had natural ventilation thanks to their position.
We walked all the way up for a beautiful view of the valley and along the mountain through terraces and remains of this great empire.
I think it's great preparation for what is waiting for us at Machu Picchu. We can only hope for such a nice weather.
