Thankfully we have opted for only one day in this huge city.
We haven't heard many travellers rave about the place and once we walked around, we could understand why.
The city is a huge and very important port for Ecuador and that reflects a lot in its appearance.
The city centre is not that nice and doesn't have much history.
The nicest part is definitely along the river where we could see an investment in the area. It's really well maintained with gardens, rides for children and even Ecuadorian version of "London Eye".
The architecture is all over the place and it reminded us slightly of Montevideo. Overall I think its a place that was nice to see and we had just right amount of time to do so!Read more
