Friday Harbor with the Harleys

Took the morning ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island to visit Tom and Caroline Harley. Beautiful ride over with Auggie stealing a lot of attention from the kids on board! Spent the day sight seeing the island, seafood lunch over looking the harbor watching yachts, ferries and seaplanes coming and going....Tom and Caroline bumped into some friends at the harbor so we joined them on their boat (yacht!) and chatted in the sun on the water! We really felt like we got a little taste of harbor life! Drove over to Roche Harbor, another stunning harbor view with old lime kilns in the background. Steak dinner with pear cobbler for dessert! A very filling day! And loved catching up with Tom and Caroline, "island" life really suits them well. Oh we met their fox friends, sparrow babies and blue bird family!もっと詳しく
