Fargo & the Plains Art Museum

    October 8, 2021 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 66 °F

Woke up to a very, very light rain. Just loud enough for me to hear, but not Tom. 🤭 It barely got the top of the jeep wet, so took a quick walk out to the Buffalo river to get a peek and a view of the prairie beyond. Lots of fallen leaves crunching under foot.

Quick drive into Fargo, ND. I had wanted to see the Plains Art Museum but it didn't open until 11am. Decided to go anyway, and even though we were early in Fargo, it took us about 30 minutes to find a spot large enough to park the RV towing a jeep. (Tom was getting a little bit frustrated...) enjoyed the museum, it was an old restored factory so lots of exposed timbers. It really is more of a contemporary art gallery than I had imagined, not Tom's cup of tea, but fortunately it was a free admission!

While walking back to car we actually found a Mexican restaurant and had the first Mexican food we have had since leaving Fresno! Not Velascos, but not bad!
