Hat Creek - Lassen National Park

I have been coming up to Hat Creek outside Lassen National Park since I was in the 2nd grade. I first came on a trip with my grandparents. We loved it so much it started becoming our annual family vacation for two weeks every year through college. I would spend my days fishing, hiking, and swimming. We would take day trip to Mt. Lassen for a hike to the peak, or head over to Lake Brittain and Burney Falls. I had the chance to bring my own kids up here several times over the years as they were growing up. This trip was a bit nostalgic as I haven't been back in years, but my brother and sister inlaw, their daughters and my mom and step dad were all up there for a week.
