A Little pre-trip Sadness

Somewhere between morning and evening while I was packing Jordan’s bird Lily passed. Had to take a break from the task list to pay respects to Jordan’s little blue bird - who was so pretty, would intermittently sing to the dryer & microwave chimes, and the random song or squeeky door, and who lived her whole life afraid of people and wouldn’t let you hold her.
