Day 16 Rivers and Hanse Tandem Rally 5

Today was West to the most interesting Hanse town Zutphen. It was clearly a wealthy town at some point and the buildings reflect it's importantant trading position as Hanse town on the rivers IJssel and Berkel. Seems strange that they had this successful early version of the European Union in the 13th century (Hanseatic league).
