An afternoon in Beja

A bit of a drive to the East of the Alentejo region but Beja is a lovely little town with a good feel and a very long past. We stumbled into a celebration of the Roman occupation of the area when Beja was called Pax Julia (under Julius Caesar). Topped off the day with a plate of porco preto and a bottle of rosé at the restaurante Adega Tipica 25 de Abril.Baca lagi
