Kahntour Spreewald

The next day, we took a tour on a flat-bottomed boat through the Spree Forest, where we ate many different cucumbers and passed by some isolated houses in the middle of nature.
Small city tour Dresden

We continued to the next state, Sachsen, where we arrived in Dresden by early afternoon and then took a walk around the historical city centre.
Saxon Switzerland

Steamboat to Bad Schandau

As a little extra, we took the steam boat to Bad Schandau the next morning, instead of going all the way via train. It started to rain halfways through but it was nonetheless a cool experience.
Kirnitzschtal tramway

Surprisingly, it was possible to use this historical tram with our public transit tickets, so we hopped on and went all the way to the final stop, where a small waterfall waited for us.

Since we had a day left, we wanted to discover more of Dresden. So we went to the northern part of the city, where they had some great architecture and nice views.
