Still on day 2 in London, we continued to Covent Garden and visited the Market.
Afterwards, we visited Madame Tussauds. Most of our pictures taken there were selfies, so we skip them for this Footprint. Have some pictures from the Chamber of Horrors instead :D
And some more pictures from the exhibition later on...

  • Stonehenge

    July 15, 2025 in England ⋅ 🌬 19 °C

After finally leaving London, we took the train to Salisbury and then the bus to Stonehenge. It was pretty crowded and overall not as interesting as we expected.

  • Old Sarum Castle

    July 15, 2025 in England ⋅ 🌬 20 °C

Included in our ticket was Old Sarum Castle, right after visiting Stonehenge. And to be honest, this one was a lot cooler! Less crowded, more to explore, a great view! We liked it!

  • Salisbury

Anf then, after visiting Stonehenge and Old Sarum Castle, we walked around in Salisbury. A beautiful and cute little city! Our hotel was a historic building and our room looked so fancy, too!

  • Short visit in Oxford

We spent a day with a friend in Aldershot, then took a short break in Reading to meet up with another person, before we started a bigger trip up north. Oxford was along the way anyway, so we decided to get out there and walk around the city for a few hours before we continued further north.Read more

  • Hiking in Hope Valley

    July 24, 2025 in England ⋅ ☁️ 20 °C

The last new destination of our England trip was a small place called Edale, located at Hope Valley. We specifically chose this location because even though it was still reachable by train, it was very far away from bigger cities and towns. Perfect for another day in the nature. And a great view, too!
When we reached the top of the hills, we decided to take one of the cave tours. Afterwards, we hiked all the way to Lose Hill and then down to the little village of Hope, where we ate something and then took the train back to Edale.
