Maumere

We make 1 more stop at ‘hidden’ gem Koka beach. In the morning it seemed we had 2 huge private beaches for ourselves but we soon got accompanied by a few others, no worries we still had plenty of space. The road trip is coming to an end and our drivers/guides brought us safely in Maumere. We did not plan much here other than chill around and were quite successful in doing so in the beautiful and spacious gardens/pool/beach/sea of the 2 places we stayed. We did this together with a lovely super international German couple with 4 kids. Great fun to see the interactions between the kids, the language adaptations, the older kids taking care of Milo and Yuna, kayaking by themselves, catching little crabs on the beach - just playing around and being adventurous.
